The Gentle AI Guide exists for one reason: the people who could benefit most from AI are the ones nobody is explaining it to.
Most writing about AI is aimed at experts, investors, or people who already use it every day. If you're not one of them, it can feel like the world changed while nobody showed you where the door is. This site is that door — calm, unhurried, and in plain English.
Who is behind it
The Gentle AI Guide is made by Jacob S. Olsen, an independent website publisher in Denmark. You can reach him any time at [email protected] — questions from readers often become new articles.
How the articles are written
Honesty first: the articles on this site are written with the help of AI — the same kind of tool the site teaches you to use. Every article is then read, corrected and approved by a person before it is published, and each page shows the date it was last checked. The illustrations are also AI-generated, in one consistent style, and reviewed before use.
We work this way on purpose. It's exactly the relationship with AI we recommend to you: let it do the heavy lifting, but never let it have the final word.
